The clever imagination of Colmarians, whether shopkeepers or individuals, who have their hearts set on perpetuating the Alsatian Christmas tradition, stimulated by decoration contests, add an original touch to streets and places of the town that you will discover with pleasure and surprise.

Windows and balconies are decorated with Advent crowns in order to mark the symbol of religious and lay Christmas on the façades with a thousand and one touching artefacts which make the centre of Colmar a magical and timeless place.
