How to get to the Christmas markets in the Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr region? By public transport or by car, you will find on this page all the practical information.

The Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé car park and shuttle service

Price: €10 per vehicle (including access to the Park-and-Ride and the shuttle for all occupants of the vehicle)

Naturoparc car park (220 parking places) <-> Riquewihr Christmas Market:

    • 28-29 novembre 2026
    • 05-06 décembre 2026
    • 12-13 décembre 2026
    • 19-20 décembre 2026

Location: Naturoparc - Route de Ribeauvillé, 68150 Hunawihr

Shuttles every 30 minutes from 9.45am to 6.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Cordon-Schmidt car park (430 parking places) <-> Ribeauvillé Christmas Market:

    • 05-06 décembre 2026
    • 12-13 décembre 2026

Location: Cordon Company - Muehlbach business park, exit 20 from the A35 motorway

Shuttles every 20 minutes, from 9.30am to 8.40pm on Saturdays and from 9.30am to 7.40pm on Sundays.

Motorhome parking

Riquewihr

  • 32 spaces at the football stadium - Route des vins

Open from 27/11/2026 to 20/12/26.
Rates: €15 for the day (from 9 am to 7 pm), €25 for a full day and night, and €10 for half a day (from 1 pm to 7 pm). No reservation possible!

Unattended car park with access to site toilets and rubbish bins.

  • 89 spaces at Camping de Riquewihr - Route des vins

Open from 27/11/2026 to 02/01/2027.

Minimum rate for 2 people (campsite + electricity + tourist tax): €27.50

Access to heated restrooms

Open all year round.

Rates: €20 from 9am to 7pm. 10 per night (7pm to 9am).

Ribeauvillé

  • 27 spaces - Motorhome park - Route de Colmar

Price: €15/24h

  • 60 spaces - Camping Pierre de Coubertin

Open from 27/11 to 21/12.

Minimum rate for a 2 people (campsite and electricity): €23

Please note: It is important to note that there are no on-site facilities (no restrooms or showers). However, the wastewater disposal area is open.

Bus parking and traffic (coach operators)

Ribeauvillé Christmas Market

• Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) :

During the Christmas market, buses are welcomed as follows: the vehicle is picked up at the Général de Gaulle car park, where a security guard will board the bus to guide the driver to the passenger drop-off point at the top of the town.

The bus is then invited to park outside the town (Z.A. du Muehlbach - free parking). Passengers are collected from the Général de Gaulle car park. Drivers can reach the town of Ribeauvillé using the ‘Perles de Noël’ shuttle service.

Please note that the town of Ribeauvillé has made special arrangements for groups attending its Christmas Market: only buses staying for at least half a day at the Ribeauvillé Medieval Christmas Market are allowed to let their passengers off to go to the Christmas Market. Groups wishing to stay for less time will not be allowed to stop.

  • Weekdays (Monday to Friday) :

Outside the Christmas market period, the traditional car park is located at 1 Place du Général de Gaulle in Ribeauvillé.

Riquewihr Christmas Market

  • Weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday):

Coach parking and customers drop off are subject to reservation on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, subject to availability and payment of a fee of 90€.

A fee of 120€ per bus will be charged on site for buses/coaches that have not booked in advance.

Passengers are dropped off and picked up at Place Jean Monnet.

Buses are then invited to park outside: usually on Heftweg or Place Jean Monnet. A heated room for bus drivers is available for breaks at weekends only.

  • Weekdays (Monday to Thursday) 

Buses can park at Place Jean Monnet. The standard rate cost €40 per day and is available for 10 hours. No reservation is required.

Bergheim Christmas Market

  • Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

Passengers visiting the Christmas market should be dropped off at 74 Route de Sélestat.

Buses are then invited to park free of charge in the Cordon company car park in the Muehlbach business park. Drivers can't return to Bergheim town city center. There is no shuttle service.

  • Weekdays (Monday to Friday)

No specific service on weekdays. Buses can use the traditional passenger drop-off service at the town garden. There is no specific parking area.

Accessible parking in Ribeauvillé & Riquewihr

To make it easier for you to get around during the Christmas markets, special facilities are provided for people with reduced mobility in our area.

Ribeauvillé:

  • Parking is available in the Jardin de Ville (open to all).
  • Once this car park is full, spaces are available in the courtyard of the Rotenberg school (reserved for PRM), accessible via Rue du Cimetière.

Riquewihr:

  • PRM spaces are located in the usual places, Place Jean Monnet.

Park and ride (P+R) facilities:

  • Reserved PRM spaces are available at park and ride facilities, with accessible buses (1 PRM space per bus).

Please note: additional/replacement buses may not be accessible to PRM.
